Education and early professional years

Dr. Muhammet Özgehan shaped his passion for medicine at some of Turkey’s most established and prestigious institutions. He completed his medical education at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) and Eskişehir Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine. After graduation, he built a strong practical foundation in general medicine and surgical disciplines.

Healthcare management and administrative experience

Alongside clinical practice, he has held critical responsibilities in healthcare management, innovation and academia–industry collaboration. Throughout his career he has served in senior roles including Deputy Chief Physician at Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital, Secretary General of Hacettepe University, and General Manager of Hacettepe Technopolis — contributing meaningfully to Turkey’s health and technology ecosystem.

Scientific approach and innovation in hair transplantation

Specialising in hair, beard and eyebrow transplantation and medical aesthetics, Dr. Özgehan uses the most current techniques in his operations: Sapphire FUE and DHI. Recognised by global medical authorities as a World Hair Council Specialist, he builds surgical processes entirely on scientific data and tissue-preservation protocols.

To maximise post-transplant graft survival, he pioneered the use of hypothermic organ-transplantation solutions such as Servator H in his procedures and develops academic protocols in this field. Driven by a belief in sectoral innovation, he has also designed an original surgical hand instrument — the subject of a utility-model process — that helps achieve better hair-transplant outcomes more effectively.

Sector leadership and international achievements

As President of the Turkish Society of Hair and Scalp Diseases, Dr. Özgehan works to raise ethical, legal and scientific standards in hair-transplant centres and clinics. Thanks to clinical excellence and a patient-centred approach, he was selected in 2020 among the World’s Top 100 Doctors on international platforms and has also been recognised nationally as “Best Doctor” for his social contribution. With clinics holding the Turkish Ministry of Health International Health Tourism Authorisation Certificate, he offers international patients lawful, transparent and high-comfort care. He also uses digital media actively to educate the public on hair health and general medical topics.
